you sit there in your heart ache waiting for some beautiful boy to, save you from your own ways.

Since I was unable to leave the house today (car won't be fixed until tomorrow or something), I had plenty of time to catch up on some online shopping.  While this is not an activity which, under normal circumstances, I would consider to be particularly productive, I figured that it would save me some time & some actual shopping in finding things for my and Courtney's new apartment.  I move in on August 1st so there's just one mere week to get all of this shit together.  But it will happen.  Here's some things I'm hoping to pick up asap:
I used to be obsessed with Helmut Newton photography and this print really reminds me of it.  It will be perfect for my bedroom.
This just seems like it will go well with everything Courtney & I own.  For the living room.
I need lamps.  I'm probably going to bring these antique storm glass ones I have in my room at home but I thought this was cheeky and cute.  For my bedroom.

Another Newton-esque print for the bedroom.

I just thought this was funny- an ape and beer.  Random.  But I like it.  I'm thinking for the kitchen.
Everyone who knows me knows how much I love books.  So it's only natural that I should have a lot of storage for them in my room.
We have a living room with a fireplace that I think this would fit well in.  I really like this color.
So, I have a bed at home but I like this one.  Plus I get bored & like to move my furniture around a lot & this looks like it would be conducive to that.
Similar color to the other chair I picked out.  Also for the living room as extra seating.  Still need to find a couch & some sort of armchair, but I'd like to opt vintage for those.
I love chandeliers and I love colors and I think it will be nice lighting for the living room.

A coat hanger.  Hey, it's practical.  And hopefully will reduce the excess clothing problem.

Obviously, a shower curtain for the bathroom.  I thought this one was really different- it's a Patrick McMullan photo from Studio 54.
